How does it work?
Process
Download the plan. Co-create the modules with your neighbours (in Rotterdam, you should involve at least three neighbours). Check with your municipality if it’s OK to take one parking space for more fun and green in your street.
Construction
Built on a platform of easily connectable 50 x 50 cm squares the system gives space to an unimaginable number of options to build on top. Planters, bicycle parking, benches, etc.
Approval
Each city has its own rules. In Rotterdam, we worked together with the municipality we developed a participatory approach to create the necessary local support and deal with opposition.
